Family is important

Family is important
Family is important but very often, we fail to appreciate what we have until it's gone. Time, people and situation change. That's why we have no choice but to appreciate whatever we have now. There will always be "outliers" in a family. However, given the fact that our time in this world is short and silaturrahim (relationship) is important, we should see the "misunderstanding" as a very very tiny element. Someone in the family has to take the lead and make initiative to tighten family relationship. This is also one way to make the parents happy, especially during their golden ages. Perhaps, the happiness in seeing harmonization among family members is far greater than having what money can buy.
